
The Museum at
El Castell de Guadalest of
Antonio Marco offers to all those who love the work done by hand, a unique piece, divided into two floors.
On the first floor of this museum will surprise you Guadalest models of houses and churches of 70 cm. high, built with stones, bricks, cement, wood and clay tiles. The houses with their doors, windows, kitchen and bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors appear fully furnished, you can even see the lights on, family pictures and all the typical home appliances.
The second floor is a large nativity scene, recalling an ancient city. It weighs 12 tons. And, after many years of work and maintenance that is needed daily, will surprise you with its myriad of small details. Since smoking chimneys, fountains and rivers by the crystal clear water running up endless moving figures, representing the most varied jobs (bakers, blacksmiths ,....).
This museum in
El Castell de Guadalest, has been recognized for their commitment and effort, as well as Antonio Marco´s dedication over the years. Therefore, include the award he received from the Association of Tourist Guides in Alicante, Costa Blanca Tourism Award, among others. In addition to its appearance in national newspapers and international television and in local, district (Channel 9), national (Antena 3) and international (Channel 1 Russian television, for example), among many others.
